Biden UNDER FIRE – Haley Comes Out Swinging!
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Republican White House contender Nikki Haley criticized President Biden following the announcement that Russia was suspending its participation in the New START nuclear arms treaty.
The New START nuclear arms treaty was put in place to limit the number of nuclear warheads that each country was allowed to have. The treaty is the only nuclear treaty that both Russia and the U.S. were both involved in and it was first formed during the Obama administration. The New START treaty, first signed in April 2010, limits the number of nuclear warheads deployed on delivery systems to 1,550.
Haley has said that Russia’s move to suspend their participation had “violated this agreement.” She added that their decision was dangerous and that it was clear that they believed they could “intimidate” the U.S. President which they consider “weak.” Haley said that this could not continue being the case.
The White House did not comment on Haley’s claims.
On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia would suspend its participation in the New START treaty. However, he claimed that the country was not completely withdrawing from the treaty. Putin’s announcement came during an annual address to the nation, only one day after President Biden made a surprise visit to Kyiv.
In his remarks, Putin tried to cast Russia and Ukraine as victims and claimed that Russia was fighting to continue existing against attacks and pressure from the West.
