Biden’s 2024 Announcement Just Flopped!
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – President Biden on Tuesday announced his reelection campaign through video, despite the fact that close to half of Americans who voted for him in 2020 have stated that they did not want to see him running for another term. Biden launched his reelection campaign on the four-year anniversary of his 2020 campaign launch.
On Monday, one day before the announcement, a new USA Today/Suffolk University poll showed that around half of the voters who had voted for President Biden in the previous election cycle did not believe that he should seek reelection. More specifically 40 percent of individuals who voted for him in 2020 stated that he should not run. Around 35 percent of respondents also stated that they would vote for a third-party candidate instead of voting for Biden in 2024, even if that meant that former President Donald Trump would be more likely to win the 2024 presidential election.
Over the past few months, there have been a lot of speculations about whether Biden, 80, would choose to seek reelection. However, his team had often reiterated that the President intended to run for reelection. Earlier this month, Biden himself had stated that an announcement about whether or not he was running for reelection would come “relatively soon.”
Last week, Biden sent out exclusive invitations to many of the top donors from his 2020 campaign asking them to attend a party at the White House. Biden, who is currently the oldest president in U.S. history, would be 86 in 2029, when his second term ends.
