Biden’s Immigration Policy Faces SCRUTINY

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A new public campaign awareness campaign has been launched by over 100 immigration advocacy organizations who want to vocalize their concerns regarding the Biden administration’s new immigration proposal which would limit access to asylum for those who cross the southern border.

The new policy would require all undocumented migrants who want to gain asylum in the U.S. to have first claimed asylum in one of the countries that they crossed while traveling to the U.S. The Biden administration has maintained that this would encourage migrants to seek asylum nearer to their home countries before choosing to make the treacherous trek to reach the U.S. southern border.

The campaign includes a newly launched website, noasylumban.us, which seeks to create more widespread opposition to the Biden administration’s policy. The new proposed policy is also open to public comment right now which means that citizens are free to provide their opinions regarding the proposal to the Department of Homeland Security.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, however, has endorsed the new policy. Jordan, who is a strong Trump ally and a conservative supporting the policy, which is opposed by other immigration organizations, has put Biden in a precarious position regarding his immigration policy.
