Comedian Rashida Tlaib: Trump is “Scared” of The Squad
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) apparently has a funny side to her that we didn’t know about. We learned, though, from her interview with The Guardian, that she could make a decent living moonlighting as a comedian if this whole “anti-Semitic congresswoman” thing doesn’t pan out for her long-term. Well, we assume she was kidding, anyway. If she was making these remarks in seriousness, then we have to question whether she’s psychologically fit to keep her seat in Congress…
“It’s been very clear to me, especially this last week, that [Trump] is scared of us,” Tlaib told the paper. “He’s afraid of women of color because we’re not afraid of him and we’re not afraid to speak up and say that we have a white supremacist in the White House who has a hate agenda. He’s afraid because we have a real agenda for the American people.”
Like, this is gut-busting material!
Far from being “afraid” of Tlaib and her Squad, Trump claps his hands in jubilant excitement every time one of them makes a nonsensical, radical remark to the press. And that’s a lot of hand-clapping, because between the four of them (Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayannah Pressley, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), they can scarcely go a few days without reminding Americans just how insane they are. Oh yes, they have an agenda for the American people, all right. It involves confiscatory tax rates, widespread socialism, and the endless demonization of whites, Christians, and Jews.
Tlaib then turned comedy into pure hilarity as she continued: “He can bring it, because we actually have policies that came from the people. What he’s doing by choosing us four as his target is trying to distract folks from the fact that more people are living in poverty than ever, because he has failed as a president.”
Oh, no one in America today even KNOWS poverty like the kind they would see if these socialists ever actually got control of the government. We’re talking bread-lines and toilet paper rations. The idea that Trump has forced more people than ever before into poverty is simply untrue – under his watch, there is far less unemployment than there was under the last guy. And the notion that the Squad’s idiotic policies are “popular” is a false one: Americans are trending towards “socialism” in the same polls that prove they don’t have the slightest idea what socialism means.
Trump is trying to position these four as the face of the Democratic Party for a reason, and it certainly isn’t because he’s afraid of them. It’s because he knows that while a matchup with Joe Biden could be trouble, a matchup with Tlaib, Omar, and AOC will mean certain re-election.
But then, Tlaib and her goons are wrong about a lot of things, so why should this be any different?
