Democrats BAN Top Republican – It Has Begun!

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) criticized Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) over the House Judiciary Committee’s planned hearing in New York City, stating that the GOP chairman was “not welcome” in his district.

In the statement that he released, Goldman claimed that Jordan has decided not to focus on “improving the lives of the American people,” but rather on trying to “weaponize Congress to obstruct an ongoing, non-federal criminal prosecution.” He added that if Jordan truly cared about public safety, then his field hearings would be taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, or Louisville, Kentucky, citing two of the areas that have had mass shootings.

Late last month, during the Nashville school shooting, there were three 9-year-old children and three adults left dead. On Monday, during a downtown shooting at a bank in Louisville, there were at least 4 people fatally shot while 8 others were hospitalized. Goldman added that Jordan was “not welcome in my district for this political stunt,” which is just being used to support Trump’s defense using taxpayer money.

Goldman represents New York’s 10th Congressional District, which is where the Javits Federal Building, where the Judiciary Committee’s planned hearing is set to take place, is located.

On Monday, the panel announced that they would be holding a hearing in Manhattan on April 17, focusing on crime in the city during an event titled “Victims of Violent Crime in Manhattan.” The case brought forth against Trump over the hush money payments made prior to 2016 is also likely to be discussed during the hearing.
