(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) –  On Friday, the Washington Post reported that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Wallis’ office had prosecutors inform eight people that they would not be facing any charges in connection to the investigation relating to former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

According to the report, prosecutors informed at least eight of the 16 fake Georgia electors who were planning on declaring that former President Donald Trump had won the state in the 2020 presidential election that they would receive immunity deals if they chose to cooperate and testify about Trump’s and his allies’ attempts to overturn the state election.

The brief filed in Fulton County Superior Court on Friday by Kimberly Bourroughs Debrow, the defense attorney of the eight electors, noted that they were not promising to disclose any incriminating evidence in exchange for immunity while also maintaining that they are innocent. She further criticized Willis’ claims that she needed to be disqualified based on accusations that she had not informed her client about a previous immunity deal.

According to a source close to the investigation, the eight electors had continued to claim that they had done no wrongdoing and that nothing they did was “criminal.”

Last month, Willis stated that she would be announcing any indictments relating to her investigation between July 11 and September 1. She further stated that following the announcement, she was expecting to see a “significant public reaction.”

According to the Post, Willis claimed in a previous filing that she believed all the electors had committed a crime.
