Gender Games: DNC Amends Charter to Make Room For Trans…Everything

It’s getting really complicated for quota fiends who want to make sure they have “equal representation” on their boards, committees, and leadership squads. It used to be you could just do what the Democratic National Committee has done; put it in your bylaws that every committee has to have a strict division of men and women, right down the middle. An impossibly nauseating bow to political correctness, perhaps, but we suppose that’s what you might expect when you dig into the Democratic Party.

Nonetheless, it’s no longer good enough in an age where you have transfemales, transmales, gender fluidity, and all kinds of other sexual identity nonsense floating around in the atmosphere. And with several Democratic candidates now considering themselves something other than vanilla-flavored “men” or “women,” the DNC decided it was time to make some changes to the rules.

This weekend, DNC members voted to amend the language in their charter to make sure that people of all gender identification (don’t forget nonbinary!) were represented in the official rules. Committees, the new charter proclaims, “shall be as equally divided as practicable between men and women (determined by gender self-identification) meaning that the variance between men and women in the group cannot exceed one (1).”

“At the root of our diverse party is a commitment to inclusion and opportunity,” DNC Chair Tom Perez said. “By adopting this amendment, the Democratic National Committee is ensuring every Democrat feels welcome and embraced for who they are. This action reaffirms our solidarity with the LGBTQ community and challenges governments, employers, and organizations across the country to do the same.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Now we start the countdown to when we will hear the first complaints from the LGBTQ community. Oh, Democrats, you have to go out and actively recruit trans-black-gender-whales to serve on your committees! You chose THAT transgender person instead of the one WE like? And so on. This is one of the most ungrateful, divisive, outrage-addicted armies in American life, and the more you go out of your way to pander to them, the more you open yourself up for attack. Trust us, the harshest criticism for the DNC will come from the left going forward. You literally cannot try to be LGBT-friendly without stepping into some kind of left-induced faux-controversy, as Hollywood is finding out over and over again.
