Former Vice President Joe Biden jumped into the 2020 ring with a video where he said that President Trump’s Charlottesville remarks were what solidified his decision to run for the White House. Since then, though besieged on occasion for his own racial transgressions (such as the modern left sees them, anyway), Biden has remained true to that focus, pandering whenever possible to black voters with his focus on the Evil Specter of White Supremacy (!).
This week, while hosting a press pool of black reporters in Washington (because that’s a thing for some reason), Biden reiterated his commitment to ending racism in America, declaring it “overwhelmingly a white man’s problem visited on people of color.” He flagellated himself time and again before the reporters, insisting that white men like himself were the “reason we have institutional racism.” It “would not be tolerated,” he said, in the Biden administration.
“White folks are the reason we have institutional racism,” said the man who is counting on his ability to win back the Midwestern white voters that Hillary Clinton lost. “There has always been racism in America. White supremacists have always existed, they still exist. The only way you deal with it is you attack it, you expose it, you embarrass – you call them out. Most of all, you call them out to our children.”
Asked to throw out a name he was considering to be his running mate, Biden gave this cringeworthy “woke” answer: “Whomever I pick would be preferably someone who is of color and who was of a different gender, but I’m not making that commitment until I know that the person I’m dealing with I can completely, thoroughly trust, is authentic, and is on the same page.”
Of a different gender. In the years of yore, this would have been concisely termed, “a woman.” But apparently Good Ol’ Joe has opened his eyes to the many (many) gender possibilities that exist in modern America, so we assume he’s open to choosing as his running mate a black, two-spirit, pansexual attack helicopter, if such a one is available and “authentic.”
What Biden doesn’t get – and may not get until it’s too late – is that the white working class in this country has just about had it for being blamed for everything wrong and evil in America. They do not benefit from this mysterious “privilege” they hear so much about in the media. They woke up one day and suddenly found themselves villainized for having the audacity to be white. Biden could take a stand against this nonsense and help lead the Democratic Party away from the brink of insanity. Instead, he’s out there leading the charge.
It’s sad, it’s pathetic, and even if it wins him the nomination, it will cost him the election.
