Muslim Arsonist to Police: You’re Lucky I Couldn’t Build a Bomb

Yet another peaceful, loving Muslim was arrested and charged this week for doing something decidedly chaotic and hateful, giving the American left yet another excuse to squawk ridiculously about things like Islamophobia and the rest of the country another reason to think…Hmm, there’s something not quite right about this religion.
19-year-old Tnuza Hassan went on an arson spree at her alma mater on Wednesday, setting multiple fires at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. According to police, she told investigators that she had set the fires in response to the U.S.’s involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, though it was left up to observers to determine the precise correlation between the two situations.
“She wanted the school to burn to the ground and her intent was to hurt people,” Hassan told police according to the felony complaint filed against her. In the complaint, Hassan is said to have referenced similar attacks on “Muslim land” that had attracted no sympathy from a Western audience.
She also told police that the students of St. Catherine could count themselves fortunate that all she did was start a few fires. “You guys are lucky,” she said, “that I don’t know how to build a bomb because I would have done that.”
Hassan was indeed a failure of a terrorist, having racked up a body count of exactly zero. No one was hurt in the fires, either.
Court documents shed further light on her motivations.
“She said she had been a student at Saint Catherine’s but quit last fall because she and her family were planning to vacation in Ethiopia,” said the felony complaint. “Hassan said she started the fires because she’s been reading about the U.S. military destroying schools in Iraq and Afghanistan and she felt that she should do exactly the same thing.
“She said that her fire-starting was not as successful as she had wanted. She said the most successful fire she set was at Saint Mary’s where she set a couch on fire,” it read.
Authorities are looking into any ties Hassan may have with international terrorist groups, but the reasonable bet is that she simply radicalized herself on the internet in the usual “lone wolf” fashion. Of course, even these sorts of self-radicalizing perpetrators are anything but; the radical materials are emanating from terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda and the ideology itself comes straight from the same “unimpeachable” holy book that the rest of the so-called moderate Muslims take as the ultimate truth. Young Muslims like Hassan aren’t taken in by radical literature because it departs so viciously from the Koran’s text but because it adheres much closer to it than your average mosque. The growing problem of radical Islam will be with us until we get serious about that inconvenient truth.
This really sick idea to”just hurt people” needs to be punished to the full extent of the law. This is the type of loving religion that the left wants to protect and embrace? They make no secret of their hatred for all non-muslims and their intent to take over and force their will upon us. Obviously the left’s love for them and this sort of hatred really is blind!
Lock her up, give her 2 hours per day of Adrian Rogers sermons and feed her a diet laced with pork. I could not agree with you more. I am a New Yorker who personally knows people who died on 9/11. No one should judge me, or anyone, who feels that these people are not against us. Even the supposed “good” ones do not come out and condemn the actions of these terrorists. President Trump, please stop importing terrorists.
