Obama to Visit Mosque, Spread Propaganda
Everyone knew that 2016 would be the year Obama finally dropped any pretense of being what he claimed to be. The year he stopped trying to make people believe he was this bipartisan dealmaker who believed in the fundamental constitutional foundation of the U.S. This would be the year we finally realized just how extreme this radical really was.
It’s already started, of course. Obama kicked the year off with a bang, so to speak, when he released his executive actions on gun control. This was not the first time he sidestepped Congress to get his way, but it represented his biggest attempt to undermine the Bill of Rights.
Now he’s visiting a U.S. mosque for the first time in his presidency, to the mass approval of the mainstream press. The White House announced this weekend that Obama would visit the Islamic Society of Baltimore on Wednesday, where he will almost certainly not tell the congregation that they must stand up against the terrorism infecting their religious community. No, of course not. He’ll go there to encourage religious tolerance. Which, in liberalspeak, means religious tolerance for anyone who isn’t Christian.
Or, to use the words the White House preferred, it will be a trip “to celebrate the contributions Muslim Americans make to our nation and reaffirm the importance of religious freedom to our way of life.”
Um…Eyeroll.gif.
Americans had a brief moment of hope shortly after the San Bernardino terrorist attacks when Obama gave a rare primetime address from the Oval Office to talk about what he was doing to combat ISIS. That hope quickly deflated when he used his time to defend the same failed policies, promote gun control, and warn Americans against criticizing Islam.
But even this reprehensible speech was not good enough for Islamic leaders, who slammed Obama for daring to even mention that they should do more to police extremism in their own ranks. Apparently, this religion is so beyond reproach that it’s offensive to insinuate that they should do anything to stop terrorism. Even though, as we all know, this is the only religion that continually turns out radical killers the world over.
But the problems with Islam go well beyond terrorism. The beliefs of mainstream, moderate Muslims trend well outside American values and include the subjugation of women, the promotion of Sharia law, and a strong vein of anti-semitism. Overseas and domestically, many Muslims support violent jihad under a range of circumstances. These are the things the president should be talking about when he visits that mosque.
These are the things we should all be talking about.
