Shelter Worker Says Biden Shielded from Dark Truth

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A shelter director from El Paso, Texas told Fox News that the city was unprepared and unable to handle the influx of migrants. She further added that state and local officials had cleared up the encampments around El Paso, which meant that President Biden was not truly able to see the effect of the immigration crisis.

Nicole Reulet, the director for Rescue Mission of El Paso, wrote in an email that President Biden had not been given the opportunity to truly see the immigrants in the streets of El Paso, as those immigrants had been removed during the preparations for Biden’s visit.

On Sunday Biden visited the Southern border. This was his first-ever official trip to the U.S.-Mexico border. As part of his visit, he met with Texas Governor Abbott at the tarmac, visited a migrant service center, walked along the border, and witnessed the search procedure followed by officers looking for drugs, money, or other contraband in cars entering the United States.

Since Oc. 1, 2022, El Paso has seen a 261% increase in the number of immigrant encounters. According to recent statistics, there have been 107,000 migrant encounters and 78,161 “getaways.”

El Paso has to handle nearly 2,500 daily crossings according to border Patrol officials and the migrant centers were working at capacity.

Reulet noted that in shelters resources are scarce and there are people sleeping in every inch of the facility. Still, during Biden’s trip to El Paso, he did not meet or encounter any of the migrants who crossed the border.
