Slanderous Liar Kamala Harris Announces Run for Presidency

Known liar Kamala Harris (D-CA), last seen on the national stage slandering the good name of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, announced Monday that she is running for president. The announcement was widely expected, but it nonetheless set off a firestorm of excitement and controversy among Democrats. Some in Harris’ party see her as the automatic frontrunner for the nomination and the person most likely to be able to defeat Donald Trump. Others say she is not nearly progressive enough for Democratic Party 2.0, and that her long history of enforcing the law in California as attorney general will hold her back.

But what no one should forget about Harris is that in a circus of a confirmation hearing for Kavanaugh, she perhaps went further than anyone else on the Senate Judiciary Committee when it came to deliberately lying to the American people about Kavanaugh’s character. His character? We don’t even need to go that far, because Harris deceptively edited a video to lie about his very testimony!

Before the whole brouhaha about Kavanaugh’s supposed history of rape and drugging women and all the rest of the nonsense, the Democrats were already trying every means possible to keep him off the Supreme Court. Harris was front and center in this smear campaign.

Harris’ deception began after she questioned Kavanaugh about a court decision regarding a company’s responsibility to give their employee’s free access to certain forms of birth control. She tweeted out a video of Kavanaugh addressing the topic, in which he said: “Filling out the form would make them complicit in the provision of the abortion-inducing drugs that they were, as a religious matter, objected to.”

In the tweet accompanying the video, Harris wrote: “Kavanaugh chooses his words very carefully, and this is a dog whistle for going after birth control. He was nominated for the purpose of taking away a woman’s constitutionally protected right to make her own health care decisions. Make no mistake – this is about punishing women.”

The insinuation is that Kavanaugh is using the term “abortion-inducing drugs,” which the left sees as an unfair characterization of certain forms of birth control and a “dog whistle” for those nasty pro-lifers who are always trying to bring America to the brink of The Handmaid’s Tale. Only problem? He was simply quoting the line one of the parties in the Supreme Court case took.

“In that case, they said filling out the form would make them complicit in the provision of the abortion-inducing drugs that they were, as a religious matter, objected to,” Kavanaugh said in the full, unedited video.

Harris says she will fight for truth and justice as President. There’s no reason to believe she has a solid grasp on either concept.
