This Republican Is Being MOCKED by Biden!
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – During the House Democrats’ annual retreat in Baltimore, President Biden mocked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) over her recent comments.
On Tuesday, one day before Biden’s remarks, during a hearing, Greene questioned Michigan mother and conservative activist Rebecca Kiessling about whether her two sons would be alive “if our government would secure our southern border.” Both of Kiessling’s children died from fentanyl usage on July 29, 2020. In response, Kiessling said “absolutely” before continuing to talk about the increase in drug-related deaths and the government’s role in the current drug crisis.
Greene took to Twitter to share the clip of the hearing and to write that Kiessling’s sons had died because of the Biden administration’s failure to secure the border and stop the Cartel from bringing Chinese fentanyl into the country.
However, according to a CNN fact check, Greene’s comments are false considering Biden has not yet been in office in 2020. Rather, fentanyl had been brought into the country during the Trump administration.
On Wednesday, Biden also responded to her comments, saying that Greene specifically had stated regarding the two kids who had died of fentanyl that he was the one to blame. He continued by calling that “interesting,” as the fentanyl that had caused the deaths had been brought into the U.S. during the previous administration.
He then proceeded to discuss how bipartisan cooperation could potentially help solve this issue, stating that while it’s “hard as hell,” the possibility of bipartisanship exists. He added, “And, you know, with a little bit more of Marjorie Taylor Greene and a few more, you’re going to have a lot of Republicans running our way,” before stating, “Isn’t she amazing?”
This comment resulted in a few laughs in the room.
