Trump’s Legal Battle In Georgia Takes Huge Turn

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A Georgia prosecutor investigating former President Trump’s and his allies’ attempts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia has asked a judge to keep the sealed grand jury report sealed. They added that currently they are making decisions on charges that should be brought forth imminently.

The probe, led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D), first started after it was publicized that Trump had called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) before Jan. 6, 2021, to ask him to “find 11,780 votes” so that the election results would change and Trump would be declared the winner.

According to current speculations, the report will also include criminal charge recommendations for Willis. It will be up to Willis to decide whether Trump or anyone else involved in the case will need to be criminally charged. Outside of Trump’s call to Raffensperger, there had also been a plot to have alternate electors sent for the state.

While the Jurors who crafted the report were the ones to originally choose whether they believed the report should be made public the final decision is with Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney. McBurney will be the one to decide whether the report needs to be made public as well as determine what possible redactions are necessary before the publication of the report.

Willis has cautioned the court that the release of the report could hinder the ability of defendants who will be charged to potentially have a fair trial.
