What They’re Doing to Jim Jordan is a Disgrace
Was there a meeting of the minds on some island off the east coast of the U.S. at some point over the last couple of months? A meeting where the elitist leaders of the Democratic Party (and all the constituent parts, including the major networks and newspapers) ran through a list of the most dangerous Republicans in Washington…and what should be done about them? If so, what were the names on that list? Mark Meadows? Devin Nunes? If there is such a list, can there be any doubt about Jim Jordan’s inclusion on it?
Now we’re not much for grand conspiracy theories, but it is just a little too pat for this to be happening right now. Jordan has emerged as one of the fiercest critics of the Deep State investigation into “Trump/Russia” to sit in Congress. Together with Meadows and Nunes (and a handful of others), he has put Rod Rosenstein and the Justice Department back on its collective heels with his pitbull-like intensity and his unwillingness to look the other way when he sees clear, obvious evidence of malfeasance. Jordan is a patriot and a defender of the Constitution. At a time when Trump’s enemies are coming ever closer to having their illegal charade exposed for all the world to see, can it really be a coincidence that Jordan suddenly finds himself accused of these nonsense allegations?
Sometimes a coincidence is just a coincidence. But when the conspiracy is easier to believe than the coincidence…well, you have to consider the possibilities. And one possibility is that the media in this country is, at the very least, giving undue attention and credence to the suggestion that Jordan, as an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University, knew about and helped coverup the sexual abuses of the resident sports doctor three decades ago.
All we have are accusations, many of which are being made by former students who have a history of deception and outright crime. These accusations are not based on any firsthand, certain knowledge of “what Jordan knew.” They are of the, “Oh he had to know” variety. The BS variety. If Jordan turns around and sues these media outlets for besmirching his reputation, he would not be in the wrong.
Oh, did we forget to mention the best part? The law firm Perkins Coie is the one charged with investigating these abuse claims. They just happen to be the same law firm that worked with the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign. The same law firm that shelled out money for that crazy dossier with all the lies about Trump and Russia. Guess they haven’t changed their ways.
Should someone come forward with real evidence that proves Jordan was involved in this dirty business, we’ll be the first to admit we got it wrong. We’ll be the first to recommend that he resign and face his accusers. But up until that very point, we will not submit to the rumor-mongering leftists who want nothing more than to destroy the careers of ANYONE standing in between them and their ultimate target: The President of the United States.
