DeSantis Hints at 2024 White House Bid!
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Sunday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) dismissed the idea that his visit to Iowa over the weekend was in any way proof that he was preparing to launch a presidential bid. Instead, he argued that his travels were completely focused on the promotion of his new book.
During an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo asked DeSantis whether his Iowa trip should be considered a “first indication” that he would be placing a bid for the White House. In response to this question, DeSantis took a brief moment before letting out a small laugh.
In response, he said that it should be a “first indication” that they have a “great book” that “people are buying” and are interested in.
While DeSantis has not announced anything regarding a potential presidential run, it is widely speculated that he is preparing to launch a 2024 White House bid, and the Iowa trip intensified these speculations. DeSantis is also considered to be the main opponent that former President Donald Trump will have to face in order to win the 2024 GOP nomination. Ever since his election in 2018 as the Florida governor, DeSantis has become a preferred candidate among conservatives who are looking for an option other than Trump for the election.
DeSantis is currently promoting his new book which was quickly made into a bestseller in the U.S.
