Judge Sabotages Donald Trump Again

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A New York state judge on Friday rejected a motion from former President Trump looking to dismiss the lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) against him. The case will now be allowed to proceed.

New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron rejected the argument being made by Trump’s legal team that the case brought against him was a “witch hunt.”

James has filed a lawsuit against Trump and three of his adult children— Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump — after completing a three-year investigation into the former President’s business practices of overinflating the value of his properties in order to get loans from investors. In this case, it is argued that Trump would then deflate the value of those same properties on tax forms to reduce his taxes.

The New York attorney general’s office is seeking a $250 million penalty against the defendants and is asking for them to be prohibited from acting as officers or directors of any corporation registered or licensed in the state.
According to the lawsuit, Trump’s children were also actively engaging in a conspiracy to commit crimes. Trump was also aided in his efforts by Trump Organization executives Allen Weisselberg and Jeffrey McConney.

Former President Trump’s legal team argued the defendants are protected by the disclaimers made by Mazars, his accounting firm. Mazars issued a statement in February saying that they have cut all ties with the former President and that they can’t stand behind his financial statements.
