Marjorie Taylor Greene Unleashes On Gaetz And Boebert

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Following a tense meeting after the House Speakership vote on Tuesday, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has called out conservatives within the party. Tension within the GOP is rising as the House Republicans have so far been unable to elect a Speaker in the lower chamber after winning the majority with a narrow margin.

Representative Kevin McCarthy, of California, has so far managed to secure majority support within the party, but the few members who are opposing his bid are stopping him from winning the Speakership. This is because due to the Republican’s narrow majority McCarthy is in a position to only lose a maximum of four Republican votes.

In order to win the support of the few holdouts McCarthy chose to hold a meeting on Tuesday. During the meeting, he made a last plea to convince those holding out to vote for him, but some members still refused to support him.

Greene, a Georgia Republican who rose to prominence within the party because of her conservative views and her openness to accepting right-wing criminal conspiracy theories, reportedly blasted some of her allies for refusing to support McCarthy and opposing him during the meeting. Despite the fact that Greene’s and McCarthy’s views don’t entirely alight, Greene has been one of McCarthy’s biggest and most vocal supporters in his fight to win the Speakership.

When speaking to reporters Greene also specifically called out Matt Gaetz, of Florida, and Lauren Boebert, of Colorado, for their lack of support.
