Sick Feminists Pour Urine on Libertarian

Anti-feminist libertarian Lauren Southern was filming a broadcast for website Press for Truth in Vancouver on Friday when a protester dumped a bottle of urine over her head and then fled the scene. Southern, who has become a popular icon in the men’s rights movement, was there to cover an “anti-fascist” protest centered around a visiting libertarian. While the protesters chanted away about rape culture and other forms of feminist nonsense, Southern antagonized them with such extraordinary opinions as “there are only two genders.”

This, of course, was seen by the protesters as “transphobic,” leading many of them to curse at her, scream, and flip her off. But only one had the audacity to actually pour urine on her.

“The feminist girls all were laughing at me and giving me the middle finger on the street, guys were screaming at me that ‘maybe that washed the scum off you,’” Southern said in an interview with Breitbart. “Despite their professed feminism, they don’t care about women if they have the wrong opinions. And despite their professed concern for ‘violence against women,’ they don’t care if women who disagree with them are physically attacked.”

Of course not. That’s more or less the calling card of the new feminist movement. They see any woman who isn’t on board with their ludicrous ideology as a traitor to the cause. They hate people like Southern, Sarah Palin, Carly Fiorina, and Cristina Hoff Sommers even more than they hate men who oppose their efforts. In that way, they are just another branch of the liberal left, which also regards black and Hispanic conservatives as traitors.

Make no mistake, these radfems are some of the most vile, disgusting people in the Western Hemisphere. Their pet causes involve inflating rape statistics, ignoring the truth about gender wage discrepancies, and turning men into the great evil of the world. Meanwhile, they blissfully ignore the plight of suffering women in other countries to focus on silly issues like sexy videogame characters and men who take up too much room on the subway. Suffragettes, they are not.

You would expect a movement like this to collapse under the weight of its own absurdity, but instead many of their ideas are becoming mainstream. We regularly see Democrats talk nonsense about the wage gap, and several state legislatures have passed laws tightening the definition of “sexual consent” well beyond the boundaries of common sense. And that’s not even getting into the issue of transgender rights, which is quickly turning mental illness into a thing to be celebrated and encouraged.

It’s healthy to be optimistic about the future, but the rise of these cultural vultures makes it hard.
