(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former President Donald Trump called on Americans to “pray” after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s latest announcement regarding his plans for nuclear weapons in his country.

On Saturday Putin announced that for the first time in decades, he was going to be placing nuclear weapons in Belarus. This is at a time when Russia’s relations with the West continue to decline as a result of the invasion of Ukraine. The conflict has led to many being concerned about the possibility of a further escalation, which could potentially include Russia using its nuclear weapons in the war. On the other hand, Russia has accused the West of being responsible for the increased tension because of their continuous support of Ukraine.

The announcement by Putin led to many condemning his actions as it was widely viewed that this move was an escalation of the tension. Putin’s announcement came after the United Kingdom supplied Ukraine with armor-piercing rounds containing depleted uranium, which Russia mislabeled as them being given “a nuclear component.”

On Monday Trump, who is running for the White House again in 2024 took to his social media platform Truth Social to blame the Biden administration for the “situation.” Republicans, including Trump, have been increasingly critical of the way that Biden has handled the Russia-Ukraine war, with some claiming that his foreign policy has been weaker than that of his predecessor.

In his message, Trump stated that this situation has been “caused by us.” He then called for people to “pray” about the situation.
