Trump’s NEXT Legal Problem Arises!
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner spoke about the potential timeline in which former President Donald Trump might be indicted in relation to the case in New York.
Following a historic indictment and arraignment on Tuesday, Trump became the first U.S. president, sitting or former, to have faced criminal charges. The charges are in relation to a probe by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and District Attorney Alvin Bragg into hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal prior to the 2016 presidential election in exchange for their silence.
Trump pleaded not guilty to all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records during his arraignment. This is not the only investigation that Trump is currently facing while simultaneously running his third presidential campaign to win back the White House in 2024.
Special Counsel Jack Smith is also overseeing the Department of Justice’s two probes into the former president. One of them related to the classified documents recovered from his Mar-a-Lago estate in August, and the other to his role in trying to overturn the presidential election and the subsequent attack on the U.S. Capitol.
On Wednesday, Kirschner speculated that a federal indictment connected to the DOJ’s investigation into the classified documents might arrive soon after the charges in New York City. Trump might also be charged in connection with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ probe into Trump’s efforts to overturn the Georgia 2020 presidential election results. Finally, the last indictment would come from Smith’s investigation of Trump’s role during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.
