Democrats Defend Biden’s Document Scandal

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., has defended the new case that has arisen concerning the-Vice President Joe Biden’s failing to return classified documents after his time in office finished. He further noted that the outrage coming from the Republican party was hypocritical.

Aguilar noted that President Biden has taken all the right steps since he recovered the documents stored at the Penn Biden Center and he is following the protocol. Despite this, Republicans seem intent not on having oversight but rather on opposing the President in every way possible.

On Tuesday, House Republican Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said that Biden had frequently blasted Trump over the classified documents that had been retrieved from his Mar-a-Lago estate, and yet Biden himself had documents that could not have declassified, as declassification is a power that only the President possesses.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., told reporters that the case concerning Biden’s documents and their handling is significantly different from Trump’s case where the FBI raided Trump’s home in order to recover the classified documents that Trump had taken after losing the 2020 presidential election.

Comer added that this has also created concerns over the differences in how Democrats and Republicans are being treated by the Department of Justice. Or at least a stark difference in how the current and former President are being treated in regards to these two cases.

Comer also added that they would be sending a letter to the National Archives and depending on the probe’s outcome they would decide whether a hearing is necessary.
