GOP Governor Exposes Biden

(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday criticized President Joe Biden’s proposed plan for reducing the influx of illegal immigrants. He further said that it was “about time” that the president visited the U.S.-Mexico border so that he could witness the “chaos” caused by his administration’s policies. The White House last week announced a new policy that would enable 30,000 migrants every month from four different nations to enter the country. As part of the policy those who choose to not use the legal pathway to enter the country would face repercussions.

Abbott told Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” that the proposal would only work to entice even more immigrants to try and enter the country illegally. He further continued to say that Biden’s statements about Republicans not having a plan were completely inaccurate and that they did have a plan that would help secure the border.

Biden has said that the latest policy announced would grant humanitarian “parole” to eligible migrants from Haiti, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. As part of the policy migrants would be able to apply to enter the U.S. from the country they were in. He added that those who failed to follow the legal process set forth by this policy would no longer be eligible for parole under the program. This will reduce the number of immigrants who appear at the border.

In a similar crackdown move The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice on Thursday released information on a “transit ban” that would prohibit migrants from seeking asylum in the U.S. unless they have already been rejected for asylum by another country.
