ANOTHER 2024 Contender? Former Gov Speculated to Announce
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the moderate Republican who previously ran for the White House in 2016, is scheduled to speak at an event in New Hampshire later this month. It is widely speculated that Christie is considering placing another presidential bid in 2024.
The town hall-style event at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College is scheduled for March 27. With his appearance, Christie is going to be visiting one of the early states in the Republican nomination process.
Currently, the only three Republicans to have announced their presidential campaigns for 2024 are Former President Trump, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and conservative author Vivek Ramaswamy. The three of them have already started visiting some of the early primary states as part of their campaigns.
However, even those who have not yet announced their intentions for 2024 have started to visit early primary states like Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Former Vice President Mike Pence and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), have both made trips to the early states in recent weeks. It is widely expected that the two men are planning on joining the 2024 presidential race.
Christie who had served two terms as GOP governor in a Democratic state had dropped out of the 2016 primary race. Despite this, he has continued to make his presence known in the media working as a political commentator for ABC.
