Biden Voters Endorse New 2024 Candidate
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to announce his presidential bid as a 2024 Democratic presidential nominee on Wednesday in Boston, as his support from voters that had previously voted for President Biden in 2020 continues to grow.
A recent USA Today/Suffolk University poll found that 14 percent of surveyed voters who supported Biden in 2020 stated that they would back Kennedy in 2024. That same survey showed that 67 percent of Biden’s 2020 voters would continue to back him in the 2024 presidential election.
From the remaining voters, 5 percent said that they would support self-help author Marianne Williamson and 13 percent claimed that they were undecided on whom they would support.
Kennedy, who is the nephew of former President Kennedy and son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, was mainly supported by those who “self-identified conservatives, younger voters, and those who don’t have a college degree.”
He polled particularly well among the 33 percent of respondents who did not approve of Biden’s performance in the White House, and the 35 percent who claimed that Biden’s policies were “too liberal.”
Kennedy himself is a rather controversial figure as over the past few years he has promoted many false conspiracy theories and claims such as the vaccines causing autism. He has further founded the anti-vaccine organization Children’s Health Defense and pushed against the COVID-19 vaccine. These opinions of his, have frequently meant that his family has opposed his view, especially as Kennedy had supported the release of Sirhan Sirhan, the man who assassinated his father in 1968.
