Obama is Terrified of This Republican

Let me tell you who scares the left… Kari Lake. Yes, they’re also bothered by Ron DeSantis, but he’s got a lot of establishment GOP backing him, and that tends to mellow out the fear because they think he can be “controlled.” Now, whether that is true is yet to be seen, but the fact that Paul Ryan has ranked DeSantis as his #1 pick for president doesn’t bode well for Ron. But they FEAR Kari Lake… why? Well, because she’s a BOLD, in-your-face MAGA candidate, who not only embraces President Trump, she’s literally a “fan girl” and we love that about her. She’s fearless. She cozy’s up to Bannon and makes no apologies for it, either.

She’s the female Trump, and like President Trump, her media expertise makes her nearly impossible to trip up. The mainstream media have had a really, really hard time with her, because Kari knows the game they’re playing, and she plays it a heck of a lot better than they do.

At this point, Kari is the person that Dems fear most, next to Trump. She’s up-and-coming 100 percent MAGA, and Dems know she has the chops to go far.

So much so, that Obama’s right-hand man knows in his heart that Kari will be president someday.

Axios is reporting on the panic in Dem camps over Kari Lake: Democratic Party strategists are watching Arizona’s Kari Lake with growing alarm.

Why it matters: As some see it, Lake — a 2020 election denier — could easily win the state’s gubernatorial race and threaten its 2024 election processes. And with the talent she’s already displayed even as a political novice, they see her potential to soar to a vice presidential spot or a post-Trump presidential candidacy.

Zoom in: Of this year’s midterm elections slate of “ultra MAGA” candidates, Lake has perhaps the best chance of winning.

The polls are neck-and-neck. Some Democrats are venting frustration that Katie Hobbs is not presenting a stronger challenge to Lake. Hobbs has refused to debate Lake, which some say signals fear and amounts to “political malpractice.”
What they’re saying: David Plouffe, the architect of Barack Obama’s 2008 victory, told Axios that Lake looks like a “plausible presidential candidate.”
