Speculation Running High Before SOTU
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Friday President Biden criticized Republicans at a Democratic National Committee event in Philadelphia.
Biden first entered the room along with Vice President Harris to people chanting “four more years.” While the President has not yet announced whether or not he will be running for reelection officially, his speech during the event resembled a campaign speech more than a presidential speech.
During the speech, he was overly critical of Republicans running their whole campaign on inflation only to now try “to make it worse.” He was also critical of the Republican’s newest proposal which included a bill seeking to limit the President’s ability to access the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, as well as another bill that would lead to the imposition of a 30 percent sales tax.
Regarding these, Biden said that there was no way he would not veto those bills, along with vetoing any attempts to cut Social Security, Medicare, or impose an abortion ban nationwide.
Still, Biden said that he was willing to collaborate with Republicans to get the needed raising of the debt limit. He maintained though that the increase should not come with any conditions, despite the wants of the Republicans. While Biden has not yet announced his reelection bid, former chief of staff Ron Klain recently squashed any doubts about whether or not the President would seek another term, by saying that he looked forward to being by Biden’s side during his 2024 election run.
On Tuesday, Biden is set to give the State of the Union address. It is widely speculated that following the address he will announce his reelection campaign.
