Top Republican Reveals Biden’s Biggest Strength!
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) stated that President Biden is a “weak” commander-in-chief during a recent radio talk show with John Catsimatidis on his radio show “The Cats Roundtable,” on WABC 770 AM.
During the interview, Gingrich pointed out that incumbent presidents have “enormous power” when it comes to winning their party’s nomination when they are running for reelection. He added that it is hard for an incumbent president to lose their party’s nomination, but that at the same time, President Biden was causing the United States to not be as respected by the rest of the world.
As he pointed out, President Gerald Ford managed to win the Republican Party nomination against future President Ronald Reagan in 1976, and President Jimmy Carter was also successful in winning against primary challenger Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) in 1980.
He further claimed that Biden was a “weak president” who did not understand that the country has “real enemies.” As he noted, this has led to the rest of the world starting to consider the country “unreliable.”
Gingrich proceeded to point at the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which led to the Taliban being able to take over the country within days in August 2021. This was, in his view, an example of U.S. weakness.
Marianne Williamson, a 2020 presidential candidate, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the former senator and attorney general and an anti-vaccine activist, have both announced that they would be trying to win the Democratic nomination.
