White House Defends Biden’s Blunder
(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Friday insisted that President Biden was handling the situation regarding the classified documents found in his home with the utmost seriousness. This is after Biden told reporters that he had “no regrets.”
Jean-Pierre did not answer any of the reporter’s questions relating to the classified documents found in Biden’s private office and Wilmington, Delaware, home or any of the other comments made about the documents.
When asked about whether Biden’s recent trip to his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware was because of the classified documents, she noted that all of these questions would need to be directed to the White House counsel’s office or the Department of Justice. She added that she was trying to be as respectful as possible of the Department of Justice probe and as such she could not answer any questions regarding new developments.
In a follow-up question, a reporter asked about Biden’s statement following a visit to California where he looked at the storm recovery efforts when he said that there had been a handful of documents that had been incorrectly filed, but that he had “no regrets” as he was fully cooperating with the National Archives and the Justice Department in their investigation.
While Jean-Pierre said that she would not answer specifics about these remarks, she reassured reporters that the administration and President Biden were handling the case of the classified document with all the seriousness it required. She then added that she would not expand “beyond” the president’s statement.
